The Hiking Club is a voluntary club sport affiliated with Columbia University. We organize day hikes and backpacking trips throughout the year, mostly in the New York Tri-State area.

Interested in being a Hiking Club Officer?
The Hiking Club will need new officers for the next academic year. You must be in Columbia College, Barnard College or GS to be an officer. Our positions are President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer along with several other positions.

Wilderness First Aid (WFA) Success! This past January, eight Hiking Club members were certified for WFA by SOLO schools. Look out for future programming for semesters to come!
WANTED: Trip Reports Do you want to tell the club how beautiful/adventurous/quirky/generally awesome your trip was? Write us a trip report, however long, however detailed, about your hike! Anyone from the trip can do the writing... submit it to us and we will post it to the site.
