Club Sports Officers
These positions must be filled by undergraduates. Each position must be filled in order to remain a Club Sport.
President - Marissa Tremblay
Vice President - Caroline Henderson
Secretary - Danielle Blake
You are responsible for keeping writing monthly emails with the schedule to the list serve. You also are responsible for updating the website schedule page every month with hike descriptions. Other responsibilities arise as the semester goes, but these are the main monthly ones.
Treasurer - Max Rybakov
Monthly meetings with the Club Sports director to go over the budget. Take out Travel Advances from Club Sports in order to pay for hiking trips. Meet with leaders/drivers to reimburse for travel expenses.
Other Important Positions
The club has a number of other positions to make sure it runs smoothly.
Website Manager - Matt Merguerian
Social Coordinator - currently vacant
Plans events other than our weekend hikes.
Equipment Manager - currently vacant
You keep an updated list of the gear that the club has and keep an eye out for new stuff that the club may want/need.
Club Sports Liaison- currently vacant
You will go to monthly meetings held by the Club Sports Assembly. Also, you will be the liaison for any collaboration with other Club Sports (like climbing or kayaking).
Mailing List Manager
Manages the club's mailing lists namely the General Club Body mailing list and the Leader/Driver mailing list. Responsibilities mainly include dealing with subscribe/unsubscribe requests to the leader/driver mailing list and vetting all posts made to the general body mailing list. Managing the general body mailing list will require some familiarity with the Majordomo mailing list interface, which can be easily obtained by reading through the Majordomo faq page on the CUIT website.
